Don Cale, PT –Owner-
Graduated from Loma Linda University in 1985 with his degree in physical therapy
and moved to the central coast where he joined Werner and Beck Physical therapy. He became
co-owner of the practice which became Beck and Cale Physical Therapy for 25+ years. Don is
also a founding owner in Coastal Hand and Occupational Therapy which specializes in hand
upper extremity injury care. Treatment areas of emphasis include joint replacement
rehabilitation, all types of orthopedic patients and patients with gait/balance issues. Don
continues to take a variety of orthopedic courses yearly and enjoys working with all age groups.
Rhonda Cale, PT
Graduated from Loma Linda University in 1985. She has done hospital
outpatient physical therapy, owned a PT contracting business, and has been partners with her
husband, Don, in Beck and Cale Physical Therapy since 1997. She has special interest in
manual therapy techniques as well as kinesiology and movement analysis. Rhonda has
enjoyed working in Nipomo for 26 years, and making long term relationships within the
community. When not working, she enjoys getting outdoors and appreciating music.
Stewart “Bud” Cassell, PT,
Bud has been a clinical physical therapist for 40+ years. In addition, he has been actively involved in Athletic Training for many years. He was head athletic trainer at
California State University Sacramento and University of California Davis from 1973 to 1983.
During that time, he also was an outpatient physical therapy clinician. He then went into private
practice in Davis, CA from 1983 until 2013. Bud has been involved in movement analysis and
assessment for the last 5 years, specializing in golf movement, injuries and function. He is an
avid golfer and carries a single digit handicap.
